The Walk-Out

Practical Application to Your Journey

The application part of your journey is called the “Walk-Out”.  This is where we begin to deal with our thoughts and behaviors through confession and repentance.  The walk-out process starts us on the path of renewing our minds to align with the mind of Christ. It is here that the work begins.

As you begin to take every thought captive and determine where the thought came from, you can establish new patterns of thinking. You can learn to reject thoughts that come from the enemy and embrace thoughts that come from God. Do the thoughts bring life or do they bring death?  What do our words speak?  Again, is it life-speak or death-speak?

Note: The strongholds could be, depression, stress and anxiety, unforgiveness or guilt. It could include such things as addictions, fears associated with trauma and PTSD.

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ”

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 NKJV
